Warsteiner, one of Germany’s biggest private breweries, will be our first main sponsor for our 99Liga throughout the year. Warsteiner is looking to intensify its engagement in the gaming industry by helping us grow our popular esports community. Thanks to our new relationship, we will be able to extend the coverage of 99Liga and realize the first ever offline event for 99Damage. The LAN tournament will take place at Warsteiner Music Hall in Dortmund, Germany this December, with an estimated 2,500 fans and guests attending.
99Damage is the most popular community portal within the German-speaking CS:GO scene for up-to-date news, tournaments and live broadcasts. It’s also home to the world’s biggest Counter-Strike league. More than 1,700 teams from Germany, Austria and Switzerland took part in 99Liga’s 10th season, playing around 6,000 matches and generating more than 14 million views on the official Twitch channel.
