Freaks 4U Gaming will operate as ESL and DreamHack license holders in the German and French markets.
COLOGNE / BERLIN / PARIS, October 7, 2021 – ESL Gaming, the world’s leading esports company, and Freaks 4U Gaming, a global full-service agency specializing in esports and gaming, have entered a multi-year partnership for the German and French markets. Freaks 4U Gaming will become the official license holder and operator of national ESL competitions and DreamHack festivals in Germany and France.
Founded in Germany, both ESL Gaming and Freaks 4U Gaming have made significant contributions to the development of the global esports ecosystems, having built the most extensive, sustainable, and successful esports portfolios. The partnership is a natural progression reflective of their respective strategic roadmaps and competencies, with the aim to further strengthen Germany and France as leading esports markets for players, fans, and partners.
As part of the collaboration and in preparation of assuming the festival organizer role and responsibilities of DreamHack in Germany and France, Freaks 4U Gaming is evaluating various new developments to enhance what is one of the original, longest-standing events in the gaming community.
