The Brief
A special presentation for a special product! Our long-term client Samsung trusted us with the promotion of their then newly launched monitor model Odyssey, as well as their other products at gamescom. A unique booth with the perfect activations had to be designed: Visitors were to be immersed by the Odyssey on-site, and to be further indulged with a stage and a live show, influencers, tournaments and show matches! Additionally, a corresponding press event to showcase Samsungs portfolio to B2B clients was also required.
The Challenge
gamescom presents its visitors with a wide array of new products, including monitors, every year. Therefore, we needed to create something unique and attention-grabbing to follow the Odyssey's slogan - and go beyond! There was high interest and expectations from Samsung HQ South Korea to introduce their products to the thousands of visitors.
What we did & results

Daily shows incorporated the Samsung products, special events with esports pros attracted fans and gaming events captivated masses of casual gamers.
A stunning total of 196,000 people came to enjoy the booth - which is nearly 74% of the overall gamescom visitors! On top that, there were a total of 11 streams with an impressive reach of 31,470,000 impressions by our influencers to showcase Samsung's products to gamers at home. The two main channels from the influencers Tolkin and Johnny alone accumulated over 3,397 days of watchtime. Overall, we reached over 17,600 logo or product placements during gamescom on stream.
