The Brief
Battlestate Games Limited sought our help to not only give them a presence at TwitchCon, but to make a statement. This statement needed to bring attention to their new title’s competitive capabilities, strengthen their ties to the community, and thank that community for their commitment. This project aimed to combine the militaristic post-apocalyptic world of Tarkov with competitive esports to immerse the community in a brand that offers an exciting new title.
The Challenge
Our greatest challenges were the short turnaround time and the global distribution of stakeholders across multiple time zones. Mobilizing the resources and workforce required to design, build, and execute a high-quality community event across multiple geographic regions within our timeframe required high levels of collaboration, quick actions, trust, and teamwork. Together, we went from zero to showtime in just 4 weeks.
What we did & results
We used our experience executing industry projects to establish deliverables that would exceed our client’s goals. From there, we deployed our global network to partner with top-tier local vendors who have proven skills in delivering the high-quality outputs required to meet our vision. Strong leadership and a highly collaborative environment in which we fostered feedback, flexibility, and trust resulted in a TwitchCon presence unlike any other.
Our flagship booth featured a full stage, a live tournament, complete broadcast, 20 station free play area for an exclusive early access of the title, a live DJ, photo opportunities, meet and greets with the developers, community challenges, giveaways, and professional tattoos. Our booth’s ability to attract well-known industry personalities and gaming professionals, as well as the wider community, enabled us to expand our client’s influence and generate buzz around their new title.
